From Our Last Meeting — May 18, 2026 By Sarah Williams-Berg, Sergeant at Arms | Honoring Those Who ServedThis Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and devotion to freedom secured the liberties we enjoy today. As we gather with family and friends, let us take a moment of reflection to remember these heroes and extend our deepest gratitude to the families who carry their legacy. |
Businesses MeetingThe highlight of Monday’s business meeting was the official approval of our revised bylaws by a majority of a quorum. These updates, shared with members previously, modernize our club's operations. During the discussion, members also explored resurrecting the assistant treasurer role to provide support for Bill Lentz during heavier work periods or when he is away, ensuring our financial processes continue without interruption. Following the vote, President Mike provided an overview of Clubrunner, highlighting best practices for bulletin management, story submissions, and archival procedures. 📢 Reminder: Next Meeting (June 1st) Join us next Monday, June 1st, for our special Service Above Self Award ceremony. We look forward to seeing everyone there to honor this year's recipient! | | Midwest Paddlefest Chooses Rotary as This Year's Beneficiary! Our own club member, Cris Rosario, and his wife Susanna, owners of Paddleboard Specialists, are hosting the 14th annual Midwest Paddlefest on Fowler Lake in Oconomowoc!
