They thanked several organizations for helping to fund their projects, from Adopt a School in urban Milwaukee, to the Oconomowoc Chamber Foundation’s support and to the Herro family. They collected pins, conducted interviews, performed role plays, launched the business and marketing club and Dylan took third place in the world in accounting. The group hosts Grilling to Give at OHS May 29 to raise funds for Lake Country Shoes and MDA.
LAFC marks 25 years
LAFC’s Hannah Mortensen described 25 years of caring for the community, from its 265 volunteers, to bilingual services, community partners and educational pursuits. Both Aurora and ProHealth have contributed to the LAFC’s success in serving the less fortunate, underinsured and uninsured. In 2017 the dental clinic opened. The Rotary funded medical room has already served 8,000 patients. Rotary just collected more than 1,000 toothbrushes and travel tooth pastes in a spring drive. Thank you to Stoeckl Dentistry for their contribution.
LAFC has served more than 21,000 patients since its opening in 2001, with more than 110,000 patient visits.
