Lake Country Health and Rehabilitation and Lake Country Landing
Ray and Konnie served a terrific lunch, treated Rotarians to a tour and offered insights into the senior living community. The rehabilitation complex has 100 rooms and the assisted living another 60. Staff reported that both local hospitals serve as a referral source, and that the community has welcomed them warmly. The facility is owned by Extendicare and serves a Dane, Milwaukee and Waukesha County area. It recently received a $40,000 energy award for utilizing conservation practices during construction.
President John Mezydlo issued a challenge for all Rotarians to step forward into leadership roles. He also launched the Community Sharing raffle to begin July 26, inviting Rotarians to donate $50 raffle prizes, with all proceeds going to a community charity of choice. Businesses donating raffle prizes may offer a one minute summation of their business. Donors may also choose the charity of choice.
TJ thanked Rotarians for participating in all the Independence Day festivities

- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to ALL CONCERNED?
